It's not that expensive as people think. I've been there 3 times already and stayed at 5 star hotels every time. Hotels there are cheaper than in Stockholm or any other capital in Europe! Unless you mean gambling with a loooot of money.

yeah well. i believe you but i think people really underestimate the difference between Western Europe and Central-Eastern European standards. we're poor arses compared to Western countries. i wouldn't be able to afford it as much as someone from there even if it's cheaper than their standard. plus flights are crazy expensive from here. but in 10 years hopefully i'll be a lawyer rich enough to buy half of all the tickets to P!nks shows muhahah

haha no i don't gamble. i find it too risky booooring i know

THIS!
Diana's right, the standard of living is different in those countries. Scandinavians seem to be frequent travelers.

I have family in Bosnia and it's a major difference from Sweden and the Scandinavian countries, I know. Sweden is sooo over priced and it doesn't matter where I go every other place is cheaper so I donno if that's why swedes like to travel. Plus in general people are very bored here and everyone's always talking about saving up "getting away". But you're right, the standard here is great (great health care too, etc)- but a "normal/regular" person won't get rich here ever, (unless they are lucky or have a great idea to start their own business of course), but mid swede have a great life and they get "by", take a trip sometimes, have a dog and a kid and a Volvo, and then they die happily. Lol.

Does your country have an average salary? And how much is it?

yes. i think in Sweden the life standard is incredibly high compared to here. i actually just read a report on that, how like 30% of people live in poverty or with really poor conditions (not being able to afford to eat meat, have a tv/car/washing machine, travel), while that's around 1-2 % in Sweden. of course, your prices are muuuuch higher regarding everything but you get higher salaries too. average salary in Hungary is apparently around 240 000 HUF which is approximately 790 EUR a month. as an example, when i finish uni, i'll earn around 300 EUR a month and that's considered a fairly good salary for someone starting their career with a good diploma. so yeah, most people work very hard and they never get to the "have a house, kids, a dog and a Volvo" part, which is considered to be average in Sweden. so we really caall different things "rich" but i'm sure you know this from your Bosnian family part. i don't mean to whine or anything because i have everything i could wish for, just making conversation.

there's pro's and cons. if your body learns to fight it, it will get stronger. basically the vaccins are preventive in order to avoid epidemics. i heard that somewhere.

I get what Dani saying about Vegas being cheap.... Travel is never cheap. But Vegas is "relatively cheap".... I'm using this in comparison to ither major US cities..... Hotels in Times Square are expennnnnsivelike $400 plus per night, easily.
LA expensiveeeeee
Vegas however, i stay at the Luxor quite often, very nice and I've gotten rooms for around $40 each time - AND THEY ARE NICEEE.
Right on the strip.
Ehhh

So yeah. Travel is expensive, but compared to other cities Vegas isn't is pricey.

The thing about vegas is each Casino is competing to get you in their casino. They will give you cheap - sometimes even FREE rooms to try and get you to gamble.
I don't gamble, so I make out well.

Free drinks, cheap rooms, cheap fooood. Vegas is fun.

Getting TO vegas would be your main expense Diana.

No problem, I get that we're just having a convo and I like it.

Okay, well that is low. It is the same in Bosnia. But food, gas, rent etc is so much cheaper there than in Sweden so all in all in percent we get aalmost as much after we pay our bills, food and everything we need in our daily life (for example gas here is almost 2 euros / liter). Plus they have made the food prices much higher here over a 10 year period without raising our salaries to follow it. It might seem as swedish people are rich and live a wealthy life - they do if they're successful, working 24/7, basically. I'm definitely NOT complaining tho.

The average salary here is good, but we pay 33% in taxes, therefore the high standard. The problem here is that people who don't work get tax money for support for rent, food, etc, so that "everyone's equal" so that no one gets to live on the streets. Which is good of course, until people start abusing it. There are a looot of cheaters here.....

But I agree, the salary in Hungary is crazy low, and I think that the politicians in Bosnia are ***king idiots all of them. That's why my cousins are all over the world. People deserve a better life. I wish everyone had the chance to move if they'd like. Are you thinking about moving somewhere else?

Exactly, that's what I meant. I've been to all Europe and a couple of US cities and I think Vegas is one of the cheapest, that's why I said what I said.

However, I agree flight is crazy **** expensive and the suckiest part to pay for cause it's the most uncomfortable and boring part of a trip.

Oh, Vegas! I wish I could go!!!!
